Nissan’s carousels have been around for years, but the company’s latest iteration is the Nissan Carousel Extension, and it’s got a lot going for it.
This time around, the extension is more about the carousel itself, as it adds a new “family of carouches” to the already impressive lineup.
The extensions are designed to offer the same carousel experience as the previous versions, but they’re much more versatile, thanks to new hardware that enables them to be used with different screen sizes and resolutions.
It’s possible to use the carouche with any of the car-centric screens on your display, so you can create a carousel that spans multiple displays, including smartphones, tablets, and TVs.
While you can use the extension on a TV, you’ll need to be connected to a display in order to get it to work on a monitor.
Nissan’s first version of the extension, the Carousel Extenders, debuted back in April of last year, but we’re glad that Nissan’s taken the time to improve the experience on this latest version.
The extension is currently available in the NLE, NLE+ and Carousel App stores, as well as at select retailers.
