When to stop and ask if you have the right skills

The number of job vacancies for career builders has been dropping, according to a new report.

In February, there were just 6,000 vacancies, but that figure is now at a five-year low of 1,000. 

The report from career builder Recruiters.com shows that vacancies have fallen by 25% over the past year, from 7,000 in February to 5,000 at the end of March.

Recruitment firm Hiring for Growth says the drop is partly due to a number of factors, including a decrease in the number of people applying for jobs.

Recruiting firms are also reporting an increase in the demand for their services, and it is not just about the demand that is down. 

“There’s more and more people seeking career advice and looking for support to achieve their dreams,” says Recruitings’ Mark Richardson.

“They’re looking for a little bit of guidance and guidance to help them get the right mix of skills.” 

According to the report, the number one reason why people are not getting the right combination of skills is a lack of confidence in themselves. 

As Recruitiers.com explains, there are many ways to build confidence and that includes working with other people. 

Richardson says people need to build a positive attitude and “be open to the challenges”.

“The challenge is to look at the skills you have and what you’re good at,” he says. 

To make sure you get the skills that are right for you, Richardson says it’s important to make sure that you’re looking at your career in a broad way and not looking for specific skills.

“You should be thinking about where you want to go in life and what your life is going to be like,” he explains.

“There’s lots of different things that you can do to get that right.” 

In addition to this, there’s also the question of what you want in your career. 

Recruiters says people who want to build skills that will help them in the workplace and be able to contribute to society should seek professional help. 

If you’re an aspiring career builder, Richardson suggests that you get in touch with your local career centre.

“If you don’t have the skills or the confidence that you want, it might be better to look into other career paths,” he said. 

With so many people looking for work, there will inevitably be some who are left behind.
